The US air force was into developing bomb that turns people gay...

The US Air Force embarked on an initiative in 1994 that sort to develop non-lethal weaponry for use in none other than combat. There was a proposal – that for some reason – was taken a bit seriously, and was dubbed Harassing, Annoying, and ‘Bad Guy’ Identifying Chemicals. What kind of name is that?!

So, why use non-combat weapons in a warzone? The idea was to piss off the enemy, not to harm or kill them. Take an example. A plan was hatched to drop a bomb that was saturated with pheromones that could attract bees or wasps to sting the enemy soldiers. Come to think of it, it was kind of clever, right?

That was not all. A second chemical was also developed to give the enemy terrible and lasting bad breath. There was even a point that the Air Force was considering to spray the enemy with strong aphrodisiacs that would result to them engaging in ‘homosexual behavior’. That would have been ingenious.
